2. How We Use Your Information

  • Enable core features such as family tree creation, social connections, and genealogy tracking

  • Family trees and profiles are private by default and only shared when you choose to.
  • We may share limited information with trusted service providers (e.g., Firebase for storage, Google Analytics) to support app functionality.

  • All data is securely stored using Firebase cloud infrastructure.
  • We implement industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect your information.
  • Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and safeguard your account details.

5. Children’s Privacy

  • The app is available to children under 13/18 years old only with verified parental consent.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental approval.
  • Parents may review and request deletion of their child’s account/data at any time.

You have the right to:

  • Edit or update your profile and family data

Currently, we do not fully comply with GDPR/CCPA, but support for these frameworks is planned in future releases.

  • We retain user data only for as long as necessary to provide the service.
  • When a user deletes their account, associated information will be permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the app with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the new policy.
